About Grove & Glen Creations

Grove & Glen Creations grew from a love of nature, creativity, and the joy of making something special by hand. Based in Colorado, I create laser-cut and engraved wood, stone and cork pieces, etched glassware, handcrafted greeting cards, and other thoughtfully made items inspired by the beauty of the natural world.

The name Grove & Glen has a special connection for me. Growing up, a beautifully framed portion of Ralph Waldo Emerson’s poem “The Apology” hung in my childhood home:

"Think me not unkind and rude,

That I walk alone in grove and glen;

I go to the god of the wood

To fetch his word to men."

I have always loved the peaceful woodland imagery in those words. When it came time to name my business, Grove & Glen felt like a natural reflection of that cherished childhood memory, the natural materials I create with, and the inspiration I continue to find in nature.

As Grove & Glen Creations begins its journey, I look forward to sharing new designs, exploring fresh ideas, and creating pieces that bring a little warmth and natural beauty into your home. Thank you for supporting a local small business and handmade creativity!
